Life After Football

When I was playing in the NFL, I lived in the moment. I didn’t think life could get any better. I never could have imagined how much more life had in store for me. Now as a husband and father, role model and mentor, I am able to touch the lives of many more people because I have time off the field to truly make a difference.

I spend most of my time with my two boys and a group of foster teens who I mentor on a regular basis. I can relate to what they are going through because I also struggled as a youth with confidence and self-esteem because I was adopted. Sports and music helped me rise above the hard times I faced as an adolescent and I encourage others to find their passion.  It’s rewarding knowing that I can use my own experiences to help others find their way.
